Ya know, the test when women are supposed to get when they turn 40! Accept I put it off until I was 41. Why did I do that? Because I’m weird, that’s why! I had a friend go with me, and everything went fairly well.

I’m on Suno, if anyone wants to follow me. I’ve had a bit of fun with it, but I’m not one of those that’s going to do it every day like some people on Mastodon! https://suno.com/@caseunwinder
Celebrating today and yesterday!!
Yesterday we all found out that President Elect Trump has nominated Cash Patel for FBI director! OF course he has to get confirmed, and Christopher Ray, the current director must either serve out the rest of his term, or be fired by the President. However, Patel is something extraordinary! He says he would like to create a 24/7 declassification office! He says we still need to keep some things classified, though! Sure, I agree with that. Let’s not declassify everything!
This reminds me of a quote I heard in December 2010! It actually could’ve been 2011! The quote goes like this. “We have low fences around vast prairies of government secrets, when what we need are high fences around small graveyards of the real secrets.” This was testimony from Thomas Blanton, Director of the National Security archive at George Washingon University. The quote resurfaced during the Snowden revelations in 2013.
That phrase became associated with declassification for me, and it has stuck with me in some form through all these 14 years! However, memory fades with life, time, and age, and I couldn’t precisely remeber the words Blanton said so eloquently! I was able to find a source from 2013!
‘m worried that Cash Patel supports FISA! It wouldn’t surprise me, he has a a lot of experience with intelligence! However, just for me, I would like someone who wouldn’t support FISA reauthorization in 2026!
Counseling.
Yeah I still need to set up some stuff here, I’ve gotten behind a bit, sleep is illuding me right now. Today I had a counseling appointment. We talked about a whole bunch of things! Everything from my mom to AI.
OK no, my mom is not AI, lol!!! Although she’s been prolificly yelling at me lately, maybe she’s getting it from GPT!!! I don’t think she actually is, but GPT would probably give her less overreactive responses than she’s been putting out the last couple months. Except yesterday, because when I talked to her then, she was fine.
I’ve migrated to ClassicPress.
Your probably wondering why. I do still love micro.blog However, I really do need multiple sites. I was having problems changing settings on multiple sites with micro.blog though, as a screen reader user. It would only effect the old one, and not the new one, or so it appeared to me.
When I realized that, I wasn’t the happiest person. I really do like posting links by hand, and the entire micro.blog to Masto cross posting thing kind of confuses me. Is it another instance? It looks like another instance to me!
Also, I really do like tweaking with things! I was able to upload plugin zip files to CP, and they just worked! It took the entire zip, without me having to extract it. Needless to say, this thing is just cool, and it gives me WP circa, I don’t know like 2009 flashbacks, which is what I like!
Grocery order fun!
Today has been interesting. Just preface this by saying that my state long-term care services were denied last month, so i’ve gone down to five hours weekly. Anyway, after my grocery order arrived, I discovered I hadn’t ordered enough for the recipe we’re making tomorrow. I also ordered some things for me that were incorrect, because I literally searched the wrong thing while getting them, blah! Needless to say, I got to do another one, because I needed the items for the recipe, and i wanted the items for me that were incorrect.
No, so far I have not decided to take the service denial to hearing like i did earlier this year, both because they told me I would get absolutely nothing last year, and that didn’t happen this time, and my mom was a major pain in my backside throughout that entire process!
One of the who knows how many reasons why I want 2008 back!
I called my local elections office, vote-by-mail state, to ask about alternant format voting. They said they have a new system that will put all my information right on the internet. I was like yeah but no. I’ve done this in the past, (2008,) but sometimes, it’s just easier to have a friend mark the ballot with a pen. I’ll probably see if I can get transport to the courthouse. Maybe I’ll actually go to the polls for the first time, mediforically.
When I write my next longform treatise, it’s going to be titled why I want 2008 back, or now probably 2008’s internet. It doesn’t have anything to do with any event that was going on in 2008.
IFTTT is epic! That is all! OK OK, Well i”ve played with it a couple times, but never realized just how epic it is lol.
Ice cream ffor lunch?
Well, I had Botox today. Normally, that would be a not-so nice thing, that would take me about a week to recover from! Not today, apparently. I don’t have much of a headache right now, and I’m doing fine! I was able to go out and get ice cream with my caregiver afterwards, yeah we had ice cream for lunch, because why not? I’d say something good is happening! Either the gavapentin that my doctor decided to put me on is working, or maybe the Lord just decided to give me a break, or both! Either way, I’m happy!!
MTI.
Well today I start a nine month Bible study, This looks like a college class! Wow, it really does look complex! It should be interesting though, I’m looking forward to starting something new.
