I took a trip to church today, after the events of yesterday. The driver showed up here at just shortly after 8:30 to pick me up. He didn’t call or text to let me know he was here though, so I was waiting for a little while.
I really enjoyed the service! I hadn’t been to church in a long time! I went to a different church, than I went to earlier this year, because even though I liked the sermon format, I had trouble following the worship that was all over the place with the variety of songs they would sing.
I ended up going to a Church of God church that I attended for a time in 2017 and 2018. I’m definitely going to be going back there, because it was a very welcoming atmosphere! Not only that, but the sermon was epic! The pasttor talked about everything I’d been saying for years. It was a message on thanks giving and gratitude, but it was about why we only praise God in the good times, and not when we’re facing challenges. I was agreeing with everything he was saying, because this is my life story in church. I’ve gone to a church that really doesn’t preach this kind of message in the past!

Quick updates from me.
Just a few quick things from me, because i need to post here more often.
- I had an MRI today. My Doctors are trying to determine why I’m losing hearing on one side, and not the other.
- I had a yearly routine physical yesterday.
- During the Uber trip to the MRI, I think I found a ride to church. The drivers around here offer to transport people privately, as it’s a fairly small town, so a couple of them did so with me.
- Next year, I’ll be undertaking at least two blog challenges, if not a third, so prepare for a whole lot more posting!
