Yesterday I had my follow-up doctor’s appointment. The doctor wasn’t sure if I was actually septic, or had low blood pressure because of adrenal insufficiency. He said I probably should’ve been monitored in the hospital an extra day. Unfortunately my parents were there, and most likely didn’t want to come back to get me. I […]

Today I have a doctor’s appointment. It’s one of those after hospitalization follow-up visits. I’m not looking forward to it, but there are a few things I need to ask the doctor. Unfortunately they couldn’t get me in with my GP, so it’s going to be someone else.

Good things for the week.

I haven’t done #3goodthings in a while. I don’t like the way micro.blog formats them, and I’m not great at markdown, but here it goes anyway, oh and it’s actually more than 3. 1. Doctors and nursess 2. Sudafed and cough supressant. 3. My aunt who picked up a prescription for me on Friday. 4. […]

I got sick on Wednesday. Woke up with a temperature of 101. Ended up throwing up that night and the next day. Couldn’t keep anything down, even water. Had to go to the ER. Turns out, I had a Sinus infection that had advanced into something like sepsis.

Pictures from last Tuesday.

OK so I finally got the pictures from last week out of my caregiver’s phone. well, she sent them to me in a text message, and I was going to try to email them to me from there. However, turns out there’s actually no way to do that that I know of. Anyway, after trying […]

RSS reader questions.

Can anyone recommend me an RSS reader that doesn’t limit feed items? I was using a Miniflux instance last year, until the service I was hosting with pivoted. I’d like it to be web-based if possible. Oh, and I don’t want my RSS reader to look like Twitter, but that’s just me, I’m old-fashioned, I […]

My case ended today.

This morning Alex Murdaugh was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences for the murders of his Wife and Son. This was a short sentencing hearing, the state did not bring fourth any victim impact witnesses. However Judge Neuman took his time issuing the sentence. He gave Murdaugh the opportunity to say something twice, and twice […]

The jury in SC V. Murdaugh reached a verdict a couple hours ago, after deliberating just 2 hours and 50 minutes. He was found guilty on all counts. This is the first verdict I’ve done with a caregiver on shift.

The jury is viewing the scene in SC V Murdaugh. The defense requested this on Monday. Closings will start after they get back from their trip to the property in question. Closings are my weakness. I usually always fall asleep during them. No, not openings, for some reason. Since I actually want to watch these […]
