I’m getting a new caregiver soon! A friend’s mom said she’d be willing to work for me. My caseworker finally called a couple days ago and put her on what’s called my service plan. Unfortunately she wants to wait for the voucher to come, lol who knows how long that’s going to take? We really don’t know yet.
My second niece Miah was born this morning at 5:06 pacific time. My sister checked into the hospital at 4:30 this morning in labor. Apparently the haircut I gave myself yesterday worked lol.
I talked to my sister via text while I was giving myself a haircut this morning. She’s dialated to 4 centimeters, and the doctor says she could go into labor any day now. I was cutting my hair so that hopefully she’d go into labor. Not that cutting hair will bring on labor, but I was going to wait to do it after the baby was born. I decided that now might be the better time.
I actually feel a lot better today. No headache to speak of yay! Waiting for a friend’s mom to get back to my friend on perhaps becoming my caregiver. I really like her mom so that would be something epic!!
I’ve had a pretty bad headache over the last couple days. I was supposed to go to my community group that some people from my church host on Tuesday, and I didn’t end up going. I really haven’t done a whole lot.
I talked to my sister yesterday. Her doctor said she could have the baby any day now! The doctor did say that it would be 2 weeks at the most. Unfortunately I won’t be able to go to the hospital to visit her, even after the baby is born because Covid. My mom might be able to go though, if she gets a certain room with a window.
My caregiver should be here shortly. i’ve started paying her for her time, instead of relying on the state. We still can’t get in touch with anyone over there. She’s going to check my mail to see if they’ve sent me something.
I downloaded the Cash app, I can only use it if someone sends a request. She wants me to pay her that way, instead of PayPal, I guess.7/17/20.
My caregiver would like to come back to work. However the state has messed up her paycheck royally. They say that they need proof that she was here during the pay period before she was in self-quarantine. Thing is when I call the senior and disabled services, they tell me that my caregiver has to call and talk to the voucher clerk. She’s already done that though. The voucher clerk said she was trying to call me, but I haven’t gotten any calls from her so far.
I can’t even get in touch with my caseworker over there, so if I wanted to hire a new caregiver, (my current one told me if I find someone else to go for it,) I wouldn’t be able to do that right now. She says she’ll come over for a couple hours today or tomorrow, and I’ll just write her a check for the time.
I had lots of fun with the LP convention over the weekend. It ended yesterday unfortunately. They really should make it a 5 day affair. We didn’t get the balloting results.

I figured out the issue with the Pinboard feeds. It’s on Pinboards end. Apparently the database isn’t catching up for some reason, which effects feeds. It doesn’t have any effect on searches though. He says he’s trying to get it back up and running. I had like 18 of those tag feeds in Miniflux, before they all caused a bunch of errors, so I had to remove them.
