Well I could've applied for a public credential at Julian #Assange's preliminary appeal hearing tonight, that's if I didn't sleep through most of yesterday. Unfortunately I did, so my application would be untimely. I'll definitely do this next time. Although I can't attend in person.
@warner you'll have to apply beforehand and see what happens. Keep in mind that you'll be competing with lots of people who've done this for years and years. Also, this court tends to approve observers from nonprofits etc, so I'm not sure how successful you'll be at getting an actual seat. If I were there though, I'd never hesitate to try!!!
@warner I'm in the pacific time zone, so having hearings at 2 AM was interesting at first. About 11 years later, it's completely normal lol. Last year, I was up for the entire month of September at 1:45 for the marathon extradition hearing. We were in the middle of wildfires right near us, and I thought I was going to have to evacuate. Much to my fortune, i didn't.
